We want this programme to be a power tool so that you can intentionally do so.
If you have changed brightness to minimum, press "tab" and then use the right arrow key to increase your brightness.
In case you have clicked outside the window of the application, open a Terminal(ctrl + alt + t), type opt/brightness-controller/brightness.py and use your right arrow key.
The minimum value 1% is still however.
