The problem seems to be that the setting for LOGSTASH_TAGS needs to be set for the container creating the logs, not (just) the logspout-logstash container. The documentation is not very clear about this behaviour.
As we would like to be able to set the tags globally and not for each individual container, I have created #37 that supports this.
