I unfortunately had to remove the notifications from the default theme for now, as there's a ton of stuff to consider to be able to display all kinds of notifications properly. One example is volume change notifications, these notifications need to be hidden completely in the statusline because you may end up spamming tons of notifications on every volume change from certain apps.

The docs on dbus notifications are quite poor, and we need to implement a way to add a notification category to the JSON object before re-adding notifications to the theme. Currently all notifications are sent to the theme as "general notifications" instead of being categorized as "volume change", "new message", etc., which doesn't work well with stuff like volume updates.

Anyways, it's on the todo list and will be implemented asap.

I'll leave it open until it's implemented in case anyone else is wondering whether this feature is available yet.
