I was able to improve this by optimizing out a lot of json deserialization. Its still not acceptable but I don't know that its related to windows so closing this.

You’re not really meant to call .stop() on users. Perhaps that is the issue? Your use case is a little too complex for me to investigate. You’ll need to narrow it down, preferably with a minimum reproducible example https://stackoverflow.com/help/minimal-reproducible-example

I called stop because I need the user to die and a fresh one be created as the sequence of the test cannot be repeated with the same user id. However in the case your reffering to, thats an error scenario and im able to run without errors so i dont think thats related.
