It effectively operates like a figure or a table, so multi-page ones are challenging. Will it cause major problems for you if you just break it into, or into parts?

We could get our template designer involved again if there is a need to change something, but we would have to figure out what the behavior SHOULD be. Right now it's a float, like a figure or table, so you can easily go between single column and multicolumn, etc. How should it behave if it crosses pages? Automatically break between major items ("First list", "Second list", etc.)? Or break between any kind of item? Would there be an option for multi-page single-column tables? (??)

I would have expected it to break between \begin{checklist} \end{checklist} as it being the smaller environment, but for now manual managing is fine. Was just wondering what the thoughts on this were.

We basically said that we wanted nice checklists that could expand up to full page, and didn't think about what would happen if they went past that, yet. Possibly this is something we should address. One question is whether we should address it now, or after potentially accumulating some other changes which also need addressing.
