glibc: cannot compute suffix of object files: cannot compile about brew

That's strange. Why does tmux require glibc, @sjackman ?

All bottles depend on glibc and gcc (on systems with host glibc < 2.19).

I found that brew will use system g++(4.1.2) while my personal g++(4.9.3) will not be used. So I tried
brew install glibc --cc=gcc
while it cannot use my personal gcc neither.

when I input gcc -v. It shows that gcc version 4.9.3 (GCC)
How can I force brew to use my personal gcc? --cc=gcc seems not work.

Try

ln -s `which gcc` `brew --prefix`/bin/gcc-4.9
ln -s `which g++` `brew --prefix`/bin/g++-4.9

Linuxbrew should pick your GCC 4.9 compiler up automatically once those symlinks are created.
