Analyzing the backtrace it seems that evdns replied after the evhttp_cancel_request had been called and the corresponding request object had been freed.

What version of Libevent was this using? I seem to recall fixing a related bug at some point.

master in libevent's github world is trunk in svn. It's the alpha. Not git'ish, but it is what it is. Also, it seems to be fixed. Yay, closing!
