Hi, modify chart's current Viewport(visible part of the chart), when you do that user will see only some part of the chart and will have to scroll/fling to see other parts.

//do this after you had set chart data
Viewport v = new Viewport(chart.getMaximumViewport());
//do something with viewport
v.left = 0;
v.rigth = 10;
//set current viewport, has to by within max viewport area
chart.setCurrentViewport(v, false);

It is important to modify Viewport when chart already have some data set. By default every time you set new chart's data Viewport will be recalculated. You can change this behaviour using following method:

chart.setViewportCalculationEnabled(false);

By default current viewport can have minimum width equals to maxViewport.width()/20 where 20 is default max zoom. You can change max zoom with method:

Chart.setMaxZoom(float maxZoom);//pass value >= 1
