Seconded. I must answer at least 3 student questions a week on this lab that are solved easily by telling them to open codePen in another tab. It would be best if the readme clearly instructs them on how to do that (with the instructions prominently placed so they do not miss it).

Thank you for providing this feedback and hello Flatiron friends. We've added an extra note at the beginning of this lesson instructing students to open the code pen in a second tab if they are having difficulty accessing the embedded one in the lesson, which should resolve this issue.
