Using custom images is now supported. You can simply fork the repo and modify the included Dockerfiles as described here: https://github.com/leaningtech/webvm#fork-deploy-customize
A GitHub Action workflow is provided that will automatically deploy your custom version to GitHub Pages for your fork.
Instructions on how to deploy the image elsewhere are also included in the updated README.
