I suspect this has been fixed with the latest pull. I haven't updated the build yet, I will do this tomorrow. I'll also test to see if the issue still exists. Thanks for the report :)

Re: dragging vertices
It would be cool, however because of the current drawing behaviour I'm not certain if this would be possible to achieve in a nice manner. For polygons you would not be able to drag the initial point and the guides would show when you dragged another vertex.
Maybe we should give it a try to see what it looks (and feels) like.
