I'm sorry. I thought this issue was related to something else. The newest builds delete the SSH host keys before shutting down, so they can generate unique keys when cloned via vagrant. One of a series of security features I'm planning to add over time.
Unfortunately, unlike Red Hat, openSUSE, etc, Ubuntu (and possibly others, still checking), don't automatically regenerate their keys during boot, if they are missing. I've figured out a fix, and will be uploading new boxes, as 1.8.26 when my robots are available (aka soon). In the meantime, the 1.8.14 should work fine.

I'm currently rebuilding all of the 1.8.24 boxes from scratch. Unfortunately it will take a few days to finish the full build, and then complete a test run with the robots I have, but should the issue resurface, please (re)open an issue.
