Can you give me the complete output? Does rsyncy finish? What version of rsync are you using?

I still can't reproduce this. Could you install pipevcr and then run rsync:
rsync -ambvxHAWXS --info=progress2 Internal\ shared\ storage \
~/Downloads/Phone/ | pipevcr -r lit_err
And upload the lit_err file?

I had this issue over MTP protocol, currently am not able to reproduce it, Will let you know when I can.
