Hey Kurt. If we wanted to improve some font support, or add support for new ones, where would we start?

All font types are represented by a subclass of Font, and each font (TrueType, Type 0, Type 1 etc) differ in how they represent glyph widths and more.
All of these are not complete, and some not even implemented yet.
