SIG KCP-Edge Community Meeting November 3, 2022 about kubestellar

Welcome to our inaugural meeting. We would like to introduce the KCP-Edge SIG and decide on logistics.

1. Introduce KCP-Edge and how it differs/supplements standard KCP (refers to driving concerns at: https://github.com/kcp-dev/edge-mc/issues/5
2. Discuss logistics
   a) to SIG or not to SIG? - decided - SIG has been agreed upon as a part of the community name.
   b) Decide on GitHub location for code, documents, issue (and templates) - decided - TMC to be carved out of current KCP repo. Edge repo to be started to represent KCP-Edge (https://github.com/kcp-dev/edge-mc)
   c) Decide on Slack location (use #kcp-dev?) - decided - keeping conversation at #kcp-dev
   d) Decide on google group / mail dist. list (use kcp-dev?) - decided - keeping mailing list in kcp-dev [email protected] qualified with [sig-kcp-edge]
3. Introduce initial domains of investigation
   a) Object Lifecycle - EMC (placement, location, scheduler, multi-cluster awareness, syncer, status summarization)
   b) Scale - sharding
