Not OP but a workaround for the fix is to edit the .spec.config field in the strategy created this way:

      "url": "ldaps://ldap.krateo.eu:636"
      "searchBase": "ou=People,dc=krateo,dc=eu"
      "searchFilter": "(uid={{username}})"
    }
  }

The field is encoded in base64 so you'll have to decode, edit and encode it again.

The original LDAP configuration was lacking of the server object, adding it fixes the problem.
