kitty randomly hangs after recent system updating about kitty

Using sway, kitty seems very broken on this last update. Some noticed behaviors:

• Holding keys doesn't work.
• Holding mod + mouseclick to move a floating kitty window doesn't work
• When moving the mouse around over a kitty window, it seems like the mouse freezes for some few ms, then unfreezes it again. This happens especially if you have more than one kitty window open, and move the mouse between them quickly.
• Seems random if it registers keyboard input or not
• High CPU usage in general when having kitty in focus

None of that reproduces for me on sway. If you can come up with a clear
reproducer I can help. In the meantime, I suggest you try setting
either/both of these in kitty.conf
