So the example above can't work by default due to the way values with mutable state are copied around freely in the VM, and instead an explicit iterator.copy
operation is needed.
With #96, the following now works:
x = (1..100).iter()
y = x.copy()
x.next() # 1
y.next() # 1
x.next() # 2
z = x.copy()
x.next() # 3
z.next() # 3
