@dascole There is a shared function in kong.llm package that should be used for detecting the "request inference type" instead, that should also fixed this problem because it can chuck 400 if the format doesn't return as llm/v1/*

@Tieske Has VERY PROBABLY fixed this already, with his refactor in #12907
We'll test again and close this - it would be in Kong 3.7.0
