I've thought about this already. The problem is: when do the zoomed image must
be hidden? With the current behavior, it's when the mouse cursor leaves the
thumbnail/link, but what if the thumbnail is covered by the zoomed image?

I guess you can use one or more options to hide the image.
- Click the image.
- Press "Scape" (or any other key).
- Move mouse cursor to image edge.
- Scroll up or down the page.
- Moving the mouse for more than "n" seconds.
- Simply moving the mouse.
- Having a "close" button under or over the image in a corner (and optionally a
button to go 1:1 zoom).
You could also have an option to make the image go to a 1:1 zoom, but right
under the cursor or zoom into the image using all available space (the way it
behaves now with the "ctrl" key held down).
By the way, this is one of the most useful extensions I have found for Chrome.
Thank you.

Hi, thanks for the updates.
I noticed you updated to ver 2.9 and it brings the 'Always full zoom' feature.
Do you know when this update might be available?
Thanks, again, for this great extension.

Hi,
I have some work left on this new feature, it's not perfect on some sites. I
don't have much time to work on Hover Zoom now but I'll try to make a release
in the next few days.

Hover Zoom 2.9 has been released with the new 'Always full zoom' feature. It's
an experimental feature though, as it's not polished and may change in the
future. Also, I'd like to enable it by default once it's stable enough. You may
try it by checking the "Show pictures using all available space" box in the
Advance tab of the Options page.

Hello. I noticed the feature and it's cool that large images automatically use
all available space. But could it be possible for small images to be enlarged
to use all available space too? I know this adds no quality to the image but
sometimes it's easier to see the details when small images are zoomed in. Maybe
you can define the level of zoom trough settings. I did noticed too that while
using this feature, you can't use the hotkey to zoom in, not even after you
disable this feature (as stated in another issue).
Thank you for this great addon.

The "Show pictures using all available space" is a great feature, problem is if
the image covers the thumbnail, you get into a loop where it zoom's in/out
constantly, even if i don't move the mouse one bit.
May i suggest that the closing of the zoomed image is dependant on how many
pixels you move the mouse, and until then it stays open.

Full zoom is now the default behavior in Hover Zoom 4.0.
