Thanks for your reply. I have updated the codes and double-checked my local codes. However, the bug is still there. And by the way, if it is truly a bug, then the bug occurs not only in the material label but in all labels. For example, if I have already built a beamline from source to sample, when I delete the shine() function of the source, the program will also crash.

Ok, starting from here I can't reproduce this behaviour. Could you post here the terminal output?

Ah, it's a known problem with incomplete pyopengl package, see issue #14 . You need to install the pyopengl *.whl from https://www.lfd.uci.edu/~gohlke/pythonlibs/#pyopengl
