Thank you, did this happen to three.js example or the viewer ? I'll investigate this.

lukyer avatar lukyer commented on June 14, 2024

It was viewer ... three.js example says:
'Error creating WebGL context. Three.js:334
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot call method 'getExtension' of null on Three.js:334''

Viewer: can't repro on Chrome Version 25.0.1364.172 . I am on OSX - Tested with Mountain and Lion.
Three.js loader : not the same issue, but I reproduce a problem here too.

That is strange, can you see other WebGL demos ? It means for some reason the context cannot be created.
Do you see the cube spinning here: https://www.webkit.org/blog-files/webgl/SpiritBox.html ?

Fixed: new version of ATI graphic driver fixed this issue. It is strange that other webgl demos was working OK.
However, three.js still not working, a lot of warnings in console:
'.WebGLRenderingContext: GL ERROR :GL_INVALID_OPERATION : glDrawElements: attempt to access out of range vertices in attribute 2 in program, line 1 '

Three.js loader fixed, now looking at firefox...

fabrobinet avatar fabrobinet commented on June 14, 2024

I am using Firefox 19.0.2 it looks you are using a much older one.
Three.js example: displays well, a bit slow.
Viewer: super slow (much much slower than Chrome) and layout is not right.

To follow-up on the firefox issues I filed #44
@lukyer thank you for updating this bug if you see different symptoms.
