It's been a year since this was posted with no response from repo owners, and I will be going ahead with this renaming on Friday unless I get pushback before then.

To my understanding, the concept of "repository owners" does not exist within Khronos. (And one could see that as a problem, but ... it is what it is). When this is about something that could vaguely be described as ~"feeling 'somehow responsible' for a repository", then I could say: Yes, I feel 'somehow responsible' for the glTF-Tutorials repository. But I don't care about the branch name. So when someone else wants (and has the authority) to rename it, then ... *shrugs*. No pushback here.

"Owner" is actually a github role, so it would be more accurate had I said "Admins" or perhaps "Responsible WG". In any event, I'll proceed on Friday - thanks.

The link at the lower right of the "deployed" version at https://github.khronos.org/glTF-Tutorials/ says Improve this page, leading to master. I thought that this "deployed" version was completely managed by GitHub (and they would handle their own master/main update thingy transparently). It's not a big deal, but ... does someone know why this was not updated, or how to update it?

Yes. Try pushing a new commit to main, to cause it to rebuild the pages.

It does seem like an oversight in the GH branch renaming tool - they transparently redirect most reference to the old branch name to the new one, but apparently not under the '/edit/' path. But not something that would get fixed anytime soon even if GH acknowledges it as a bug.

Thanks Ed. I'm about to push a few smaller fixes soon anyhow (probably today), so that may resolve itself.

There's a PR at #88 - I'll let that "sink in" for a while, and in doubt, self-merge it soon, let's see whether the "deployed" version is then updated as well.
