If a manufacturer closed down because of COVID and hasn't re-opened by now, I'd suggest that they aren't going to re-open.

Time to seek alternate suppliers.

The KFDtool KFD100 is currently out of stock at this time due to parts that are required to manufacture the unit not being available at this time due to the global component shortage. Once those components are available again, another batch will be manufactured and available in the KFDtool store.

As the KFDtool KFD100 adapter acts as an interface between the KFDtool software and the radio's hardware, it isn't possible to keyload a radio without the adapter.

Kenwood KPG-93 cable. To make your own KPG-93 cable AC106A. It mentions Accessory Pin 13, (Cathode) Schottky Diode (Anode) could you please provide the values for the needed components. Or is there a schematic available?

This is very frustrating. I don't want a Chinese knock-off, I don't really want to build one using an Arduino, I just want to buy something that works!

I wouldn't really call it building. It was a piece of cake, especially if you're able to follow instructions.
