Closing firefox (with save&quit or "restore last session" options) already does it, isn't it?
Hiding is just an UI thing on top of that then.

Ohhh. Wrong place for my comment, I thought this was about hide/show tabs (don't want to lose state when tab is hidden).

as conex does not really save state, this can be achieved by extensions that backup and restore browser sessions

So, will conex in the future (once the hide/show tabs feature in FF is no longer experimental) be able to hide a tab and then bring it up in the same state (logged in, etc.)?

I'm trying to a) get notified when the plugin is updated (is there a better way than following all these threads?) and b) determine if it will do what I need - basically, Tab Groups-functionality - before I just bolt to Chrome :-o
