release_chunks_spec fails (OTP 25.0) about kerl

I've never run kerl outside of ASDF, however forcing ASDF to use the latest release of kerl seemed to resolve the issue. I also could not reproduce this on another machine (intel mac), even using 2.2.3, so it might have been a local issue - or specific to m1 macs? Anyway I will close this, apologies.

For the record, I resolved it by doing this:

export ASDF_KERL_VERSION="2.4.0"
export KERL_BUILD_DOCS="yes"
asdf plugin-remove erlang
asdf plugin-add erlang
asdf install erlang 25.0

edit: I just got the error again (m1 mac) even on 2.4.0 trying to install OTP 24, but I'm out of time to investigate for now.

Can you reproduce the error using only kerl?

Just came back to say I finally got around to using kerl directly, and I couldn't reproduce this. It seems to be something specific to asdf-erlang.
