I'm an engineer at GitHub. I currently work in the Developer Experience organization, working on testing strategy and other projects to help create solutions for GitHub engineers to efficiently code, ship, and operate software. Before that, I was a Technical Advisor for the Engineering organization, and even before that, I worked on building features in the Planning and Tracking space. 📝 Prior to becoming an engineer, I did both Project and Product Management 💁‍♀️. I mostly write Ruby on Rails and spent some time working in Typescript and React. I also enjoy dabbling with Elixir on the side.

Very occasionally, I'll write about what I'm working on on the GitHub Blog or on Medium, with some additional thoughts on katestud.dev.

When I'm not coding 👩‍💻, I enjoy dancing 👯‍♀️, traveling 🛫, learning about the quirks of language 😀, and exploring my neighborhood.
