I am not able to reproduce the issue on Linux when switching on/off the ethernet. Either I do get the dialog_error exception, or the client gets stuck. The latter case is the defect, and I will have to think a little bit how to handle it from the Asio library. Also, I will try to produce the crash from Windows. Your case seems to be on MacOS?

@gekrap Can you please try the build made of this branch with your examples and tell me whether the problem still occurs?
The fix took a different approach. Take the latest code from the master branch, tests I am doing now look fine.

I am able to reproduce the crash issue in the dialog constructor. Still not sure about the root cause, I am debugging it.
