Thanks for reporting this.

Since I never had a project that required an index, this theme doesn't include a template/design for it.

Until I can add one, maybe you can provide your own genindex.html template, as described in Add custom templates. I didn't test it with the index template though.

You may also get away with just adding custom CSS.

As an aside, I can't claim support for Sphinx 7 for this theme yet. I'm glad to hear that it works for you (apart from the index), but you may be exposed to more issues.

@kai687, thanks! Just for clarity, the index is a standard Sphinx directive. The page I sent you is generated from index directives throughout the chapters of my Sphinx project.

I'm happy to go the custom CSS route but am guessing this has to do with one of the layouts...

The issue is that I didn't add styles for the index template (yet).

If you include the link to your repo here, I might be able to add the missing styles sooner rather than later, but I can't make any guarantees when that will be the case :(
