I think it's a good idea, but I want to be sure that it doesn't cause an issue with Doctoc. If we can ignore that section, or better yet, automatically run it during the Travis CI check, that would be 🎉

markdownlint is configurable. I'll work on this setup in a new branch (already have POC in my local branch). Once everything looks good, we can merge.
