The list is probably too long to be especially useful, but making a few notes is worthwhile.

Ok, I'll only list the big ones, or ones that you may not know about.

Perfect, thanks. After our dev meeting next week, we should have a better idea of the scope of this project.

@dsblank can you hop in HipChat?
from jupyterhub.
I also observe that logout is not implemented.
from jupyterhub.
It is now.
from jupyterhub.
Attempting to log out, I still get the message "Cannot log out. Notebook authentication is disabled." Running latest.
from jupyterhub.
@dsblank what version of IPython? How are you trying to log out?
from jupyterhub.
@minrk I believe that all software (IPython, configurable-http-proxy, and jupyterhub) are all the latest out of git master. I just pressed the "Logout" button. I just started up jupyterhub
locally on my laptop with no arguments. It asked for an ID and password, but won't let me log out.

I'm not sure how that could be happening. What does IPython.sys_info()
give when you are logged in?
from jupyterhub.
IPython.sys_info() gives:
{'commit_hash': '7bd04ae',
'commit_source': 'installation',
'default_encoding': 'UTF-8',
'ipython_path': '/home/dblank/ipython3/lib/python2.7/site-packages/IPython',
'ipython_version': '3.0.0-dev',
'os_name': 'posix',
'platform': 'Linux-3.13.0-35-generic-x86_64-with-Ubuntu-14.04-trusty',
'sys_executable': '/home/dblank/ipython3/bin/python',
'sys_platform': 'linux2',
'sys_version': '2.7.6 (default, Mar 22 2014, 22:59:56) \n[GCC 4.8.2]'}

Log out
is now working with latest changes. Thanks!
from jupyterhub.
Actually, I see that I can logout from /hub/home but I can't logout from /user/dblank/tree.
from jupyterhub.
I guess I could put a redirect handler to make the dashboard logout URL go to the hub logout...
from jupyterhub.
single-user logout now redirect to hub logout page (#45)
