Why would it be important for other events to be in a copy of the world?

I assume having the replay contained in it's own world would be easier to control, there are also other problems such as fluid flowing being very buggy when skipping time in the replay it also doesn't remove it properly when it ends / you leave it, having it it's own world would prevent these issues to cause problems in "production" if it were to mess up somehow
