🥷🏻 I’m Julien Houyet, Full-Stack Developer.

Young web enthusiast, I started learning HTML/CSS/PHP at the age of 11. It was only natural for me to turn it into my profession later on. I began working as a student in the field in 2010 and have made it my main occupation since 2012. Being self-taught, I enjoy constantly educating myself on new web technologies.

42-ft_printf

🖨️ ft_printf was one of the first projects to be carried out at 42. The aim is to re-code the printf function in order to understand how it works. In future projects, the use of printf is forbidden, but we can use our own ft_printf function.

42-get_next_line

📖 The aim of this project is to make a function that returns a line ending with a newline, read from a file descriptor.

42-libft

📚 The aim of this project is to code a C library regrouping usual functions that you’ll be allowed to use in all your other projects

42-libft-complete

📚 This project combines my libft, ft_printf and get_next_line projects into a single library for easy use in other projects.

42-minitalk

☎️ The purpose of this project is to code a small data exchange program using UNIX signals.

42-push_swap

🔀 This project will make you sort data on a stack, with a limited set of instructions, using the lowest possible number of actions. To succeed you’ll have to manipulate various types of algorithms and choose the most appropriate solution (out of many) for an optimized data sorting.

42-so_long

🎮 This project is a tiny 2D game I developed during my studies at 42. The aim was to familiarize myself with sprites, textures and a few basic elements. I was inspired by Pokemon Red.

angular-pokedex

📖 This project consists in developing a pokedex with Angular in order to get to grips with the framework. I'm using my own API from my Symfony-Pokemon-API project to retrieve pokemon data.

javascript-calculator

🧮 A functional and intuitive calculator in JavaScript Vanilla. The main objective is to make a calculator that performs basic arithmetic operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
