Web-only ImageView about imageview.jl

Can you give a few more details?

IJulia can already display images inline, without ImageView. Do you want other features of ImageView available? Are you looking to use this within IJulia or separately?

I was thinking in particular the interactive view of multidimensional images, in IJulia.

I haven't yet had time to test the use-case where IJulia is running on a server, and inspecting multi-dimensional images interactively. Does this work? I don't know enough about how Tk works to make a sensible guess. If this doesn't work, that would be another use-case for a web only implementation.

ImageView will (when I get more time) switch to a different backend, Gtk. I'm not sure, but it might be possible to get Gtk to emit HTML code. But perhaps more likely, one could perhaps have multiple back ends.

I'm unlikely to do this myself, because I don't know anything really about web programming. But I'd be happy to support the efforts of people who want to do the heavy lifting.
