You know, I've tried to record a 8-bit sound with the script's current version,
and it worked :)
Of course, it was a very low-quality sound, but I hadn't any problems to
distinguish each word, I was pronouncing.
Actually, we do not change the stream content while operating in MONO- or
STEREO-mode, we just copy it, so it can't be interpreted wrongly. We do
interpret it only while volume measuring.
And as we told f 32-bit wav file is something rare.
So, i think this ticket can be resolved as irrelevant.

Probably my problems with 8-bit sound were due to my soundcard. I need to
investigate it carefully.
32-bit waves are pretty if you do audio processing and editing - and that's
exactly what one could want to do with the recorded audio.
Moreover, it's just an interesting problem and task to resolve. :) So let's
have the issue open until we have a definitive answer.

Tried 8 and 32-bit modes once more on my Realtek HD soundcard built-in to ASUS
P5WD2 Premium motherboard. Loud noise in the recording, in both cases.
Something's wrong indeed. I'll check on other hardwares later.
