@SystemTheory Great to hear that Berryconda works on OSMC!
I've went ahead and built pandas-datareader
packages for armv6l and armv7l and uploaded them to the rpi
channel. You should be able to install them using conda install pandas-datareader
. Note that conda may need to downgrade your version of pandas
as pandas-datareader
does not yet support pandas
0.20.x.

Thanks for building data-reader. I tested using a download application developed using python 3.5.2 on Windows. The same code works just fine on Raspberry Pi OSMC with Berry Conda Python 3.5.2 except I may need to force crlf end of line markers rather than lf end of line markers.
In case you might consider updating the ReadMe documentation I offer this feedback. The only issues I had installing on OSMC are first I had to install bzip2 using apt-get and second I had a little trouble figuring out where to download the install script to run with proper user rights.

Thanks for the feedback on the install process. I've update the README file with some text mentioning that bzip2 should be installed and a suggestion about installing in a user account and not root or sudo.
