Are you running the latest? It was not working in 0.49, but should work in 0.50.

Also, I've released Swagger2 (0.50) which doesn't have that awful "replaced" warning.

After running
cpanm https://cpan.metacpan.org/authors/id/J/JH/JHTHORSEN/JSON-Validator-0.51.tar.gz
problem disappeared.
After pulling from upstream (your swagger2 project) warning disappeared too.
