Yes, this should be fixed in 1.6.2, which is coming out shortly.

@m-sasha I have noticed that 2.0.0-RC1 is supported in Multiplatform Compose, but not yet in android. See the android repo which as of now does not have an RC1 version yet.

I noticed the android version for another recent kotlin version came out days after the Multiplatform version.

Can I ask for some clarification on this? I thought that the android compose compiler was upsteam so therefore it had to be prepared first for each version, before Multiplatform. What am I missing?

We started to provide CM compiler plugin for new kotlin versions as soon as possible without waiting for JC compiler release.
This way it enables early Kotlin adopters to try Beta and RC versions in their compose projects without delays.
