Can you provide me a minimal example of your code explaining it? This say I can re produce and try to help out.

This is just a modification of the built in tool tip in tkinter, so we'll have to see what we can do.

I actually copied your module into MS VS Code and added root.attrubutes(topmost,"true") to make it always on too to reproduce the issue and verify it wasnt something with my code. Im using the customtkinter module for the layout, so i wanted to rule that out. Then I added the same attribute for the tool tip window on line 33 of your code to solve it.

Did you test this throughly? If so you can do a PR.

I'm not a trained programmer, only a hobbyist, and never use GitHub for anything other than copy+pasting stuff so I had to figure out the forking and pulling, but I think I got it. I copied your code into MS VS Code and set the main gui to topmost true to verify the issue, then I set the tooltip window to topmost as well to verify the fix. I hope that counts as testing it thoroughly.

I responded to you on the PR. I wasn't a "trained" programmer when I started either, I just started as a hobby with eagerness to learn. Nothing wrong with that!
