Could you explain further? I've switched between lots of strings in hi-in and en with English words showing (like Spidermonkey) and nothing seems to go wrong.

Umm.. seems like me too not able to recreate the bug, it was happening just a moment before. The languages using
<span lang="en">Something Here</span>These spans stayed there when i switched back to the default lang.
Let me give it more try. I will post back if i made it. 👍
You can close the issue till then.
