EEXT-2 RT1170-EVK USB Enumeration Problems about nxp-mcubootutility

This may not be relevant, but in case this may be helpful to this issue, this is what I am seeing:

• Single USB cable J11 connected to RT1170-EVK
• Windows Device Manager screenshot, displays vID 0x1FC9 and PID 0x013D

When I connect a second USB cable via J20, VID 0x1fc9, PID 0x013d appears in MCU Boot Utility.

Perhaps this is expected normal behavior?

My problem is understanding how to use MCU Boot Utility to "Mass Erase" flash on RT1170 in attempt to fix MCUXpresso to recover from SWD not being found. When I attempt to "mass Erase", I get "please configure boot device via Flashloader first" ?
