Array with possible enum values doesn't get validated correctly about json-schema-validator

Your schema is not correct, this is why it won't work.

You ask arrayProperty to be an array, which it is, but also an enum with the only possible values being "val1", "val2", "val3" or "val4".

Your schema should read:

    "title": "myType",
    "type": "object",

        "id": { "type": "string" },
        "arrayProperty": {
            "type": "array",
            "items": { "enum": [ "val1", "val2", "val3", "val4" ] }
        }
    }
}

The enum keyword describes the possible value for the entire object property. What you want is that individual items of the array be restricted to this set of values.
