I had to edit your comment to put the response in a code block, because the full response wasn't showing up.
That's actually an interesting response, because remotipart just sends back the javascript wrapped in a textarea as an HTML fragment, not a full HTML document with the <!DOCTYPE html><html><body>. It looks to me like you may have a conflict with another Rack middleware. Can you post the results of this?

FYI, the response you're server is sending looks exactly the same as in #81. I'm guessing you're using jquery-fileupload-rails, which conflicts with this gem. If you're using remotipart, you don't need that gem, or vice-versa. Let me know if this is not the case and you need me to re-open this issue.
