I understand why you want to do it, because some developers don't know how to or don't want to write Coffeescript. However, I think that Coffeescript has a very clean syntax which I like, and with Coffeescript we always have the native JS version available.

For me it does not really matter if I write JS or CS.

I'm currently 200km away from home celebrating Finnish midsummer, so I'll get back to this on monday with hopefully a better answer.

@jamesflorentino so, how do you feel about this?

For me it feels like changing to JS does not bring any other benefits than maybe a few more pull requests. Coffeescript has some nice features like Classes, enforces people to write "ES5 strict mode" compatible code, the output is always automatically indented, etc.
