The object definition / reference code is to properly handle cyclic object graphs. If a.x points to b and b.x points to a, then doing a naive serialization will result in an infinite loop. So to serialize this, we would serialize a as an object definition, then a.x as another object definition, and a.x.x (which is really b.x) as an object reference.

What this comment is saying is that if we encounter an object reference, then due to the way serialization works we are guaranteed to have also already encountered the object definition and then we can just grab the correct object reference and skip all of the deserialization for it, as it has already (or will) run.

The cyclic support is a bit tricky, and combining it with inheritance support makes the code even trickier. It took me many tries to figure out how to write it all properly and in a manner that was maintainable.

Ok, assuming this code :

// encapsulates the TryDeserialize method
var serializer = new FSSerializerWrapper();
var object1 = serializer.Deserializer(string json, typeof(myType));
var object2 = serializer.Deserializer(string jsonString2, typeof(myType));

will i be getting out different two seperate object references ?
