Hey ThatsEli,
What you posted is an exact problem in another issue that I referenced here. It's a known issue with the latest version and you can use an older version. I personally had the same problem and had to call an older version. I had success with connecting, but couldn't control the desk. However, I think that's an issue with an upgraded controller I'm using. Please read the linked thread and that should help you out.
