Hey @chiefGui, thanks for your question.

Yes, you are right this could be a simple function. But, I was working with React so when I create the function my first thought was to abstract this as a hook, not for a special motivation. But, of course, this could be a function 😅

Otherwise, I think that the hook is more helpful if for some reason I need to update some value inside the functionality. This doesn't exist right now but maybe in the future if someone needs it, will be added.

I imagined it could be something related to a long-term goal but really had to ask just to make sure. Anyways, it's working like a charm, so - thanks!
