I like the idea of that. I'm just wondering if that will require some special intercepting of the SAML library. Feel free to create PR for this one.

It needs to be able to serve a blank page with all the X-SAML headers in the response headers at /_verify when authed. when not authed, do the normal auth flow.
I'm not well versed enough in caddy code to do it myself in a PR. My alternative was to serve an index.html page at a /_verify directory.

Github "closed" the issue but once 1.9.0 release is built I'd appreciate any testing you can do. Feel free to reopen if you find any issues.
