Won't work how exactly?
from openbay.
coz i'm in china and the china's great fire wall block all google' domain, so i need replace it with cdnjs.
after i change it ,and reboot,or restart the server ,it won't work(the code is still google's api not cdnjs')
from openbay.
So, you mean that after rebooting or restarting the server, the code in configuration.php is still the same? or somewhere else?
from openbay.
yup
from openbay.
That's weird... the code shouldn't change unless you perform a checkout of the repo, which means you will lose all you other configurations, not just this one. Is that what happends? you lose all your config changes?
from openbay.
No, i do not lose any configuration, nothing happened.
btw, where should i chang the the google's api to cdnjs? not in this file?
from openbay.
can you specify the specific order of steps you follow?
from openbay.
i just change the code to '//cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.8.3/jquery.min.js' then reboot the server, nothing happened and js code still the google's.
from openbay.
that's not the answer I need to help you.
When do you change it? after following the web wizard? before? please, list the specific order of steps you follow.
from openbay.
yup, after i install it and get it run in the internet. then i change the code to '//cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.8.3/jquery.min.js' then reboot the server, nothing happened and js code still the google's.

what I understand from the repo, you should be making the change before
going through the web wizard, as you are making the change in the template,
that is later used to generate the site. so try again:
- installing a fresh
- before starting the web server, make the change in the file
- then go through the wizard to setup your site
and see if it works.

from openbay.
You will most likely have to change it in other places.

like what?
from openbay.
Is there any reason to do the change after the install?
Sorry but I can't help you modifying the generated files, you will have to
do it by yourself.
If the reason is to avoid re-installing, and If you don't know how to
search for it automaticlly in all the generated files, I think it will be
easier for you to re-install, than to mess up the structure and possibly
break something.
If the reason is other, you can start a new thread about that precise need
and try to solve it from there.
