This error might be because of the cloudflare dns resolution error that you get when you remove the “s” from “https”.

If you use http, not https, it brings up a cloudflare 1001 error.

I think that you do not have SSL on the server...

Since it is a CNAME record and DNS lookup seems to check out, it must be an SSL misconfiguration
